History
Dagger was born blind and attempted to restore her vision by studying mysticism. Nothing happened until the Voodoo priest Cloak escaped the Negative Zone after being trapped there for 20 years after being drawn to Dagger. Cloak's return caused Dagger to be imbued with mystical white light. Her vision was also restored, but the light she gave off hurt her eyes. Cloak's return also released evil creatures from the Negative Zone. Dagger, Cloak, and their mentor Doctor Strange later started traveling the Multiverse hunting those Negative Zone creatures.[1]
