History
Mar-Vell was a Kree warrior who acted as a superhero on Earth for a time. During these exploits, he met and fell in love with Ms. Marvel (Carol Danvers), and the two began a romantic relationship. His prolonged absence after being forced to return to space caused Carol's teammates in the Super Hero Squad to believe she had created an imaginary boyfriend.[1] His arrival on Earth to warn the Squad of a conflict between the Kree and Skrull Empires, as well as the reveal that Carol's "imaginary" boyfriend had been real all along, stunned the heroes.[2]
He would ultimately sacrifice his life to stop the Dark Surfer, passing his position as the Kree's greatest protector to his girlfriend.[3]Attributes
