History

Ten to fifteen years in the future, many X-Men met their end when several of their deadliest foes banded together and attacked them simultaneously on various fronts. At some unspecified point, Cassidy had been murdered and replaced by one of the Warskrulls. The imposter’s mission was not fully revealed, though he might have been sent simply to get close enough to Emma Frost-Summers to take her out before suspecting an attack.
