History

That creature was one of the many strange beings encountered by the Young Avengers during their trip through the Multiverse in order to find and bring back Speed.

Demiurge's minions

He was adored by a horde of cute minions who were only capable of - or only interested in - saying "Demiurge!"

When the Young Avengers came to his home reality, the minions came to meet Wiccan and his teammates, likely thinking that they were in the presence of the Demiurge, whose likeness was made of stars in the sky.

Seeing this, Miss America and Loki unsuccessfully attempted to usher Wiccan into another reality before he too noticed his celestial visage; Loki noting that "[he] probably shouldn't have seen that," and advised him to save his questions for later.
