Black Widow, who was sent to kill Dr. Didier Ines, creator of The Deathless Frenzy, decided to bring the doctor to a lab in Zurich instead and ordered him to develop an antidote for his bio-weapon. Yelena Belova was tracking her down at the time and fought Natasha in Zurich. Natasha got the upper hand but did not kill Belova but tried to discourage her from the spy business. Then, Natasha was shot in the back by S.H.I.E.L.D. agents.[1] Believing her to be dead, Yelena left Natasha's body behind.[2]
The Secret Warriors broke into a Hydra-owned bank in Zurich and emptied its vault.[3]
Coincidentally, X-Force would later break into a vault in RBS Financial Holdings. A place where many powerful criminals stored precious possessions, Domino and Colossus retrieved The Spawning Wellspring, which they acidentally dropped and opened a gate to hell. After battling a horde of demons that escaped from the gate, they managed to close it by destroying the creature that was its source.[4]
Just outside Zurich, Lash and his team destroyed a Stark facility and got into a fight with his forces. The Inhuman Royal Family soon joined the fight against him.[5]
May Parker-Jameson was at the Zurich Airport when she heard about the dome that cut off New York from the rest of the world.[6]
Ambassadors David Fourel and Garron Winslow met in Zurich, where the latter introduced the former to Baron Zemo. Zemo offered Fourel to find the crew of a missing British ship that had been taken over by Hydra agents in exchange for making a London Roxxon facility a reality.[7]
Walter Whitmer was in Zurich for a financial summit, when he woke up in his hotel room to find that he had murdered a young man while he had been mind-controlled and filmed in the act. He then received a phone call the told him to sever all ties with Xavier's businesses.[8]

Refusing to give up on Skye so easily, Coulson had her hospital room put on the Bus.[10]
