History
In 2000, Warner Brothers Network launched the television show X-Men: Evolution, which portrayed the X-Men as teenagers attending regular high school in addition to the Xavier Institute. The series ended in 2003 after its fourth season.

Notes
A future (grown-up) version of the team was depicted in the final episod of the series, having been witnessed by Professor X in the mind of Apocalypse. The future team roster includes Cyclops, Shadowcat, Colossus, Nightcrawler, Storm, Rogue, Iceman and X23. Jean Grey and Wolverine are notably absent (Jean is shown in a separate scene, apparently turning into Phoenix).
