Carol Danvers Discussion

Okay I have never took any keen interest in Carol Danvers aka Capt Marvel. She always seemed quite unappealing to me in the comics. So i don't know a lot about her other than she got her kree powers in an explosion and she can go into some sort of super saiyan state called Binary.

What i wanted to ask is, Why can Carol go Binary?
I mean can any other Kree warriors go into binary state or fly? if not, then why only Carol can do it?

The device which originally gave Carol her powers was of Kree design, but is irrelevant.

The Fandom has a detailed history for Carol, but in brief...

Carol Danvers was Ms. Marvel when she had her powers stolen permanently (assumed) by the mutant Rogue. During this period her power became tied to a star, with sufficiently greater increase in potential. Due to the fact she was star powered she chose the name Binary.

@Dr Nice: How exactly did her powers got tied to Star? Is there any explanation to it?

The alien Brood were in some manner responsible. Like I said, the Fandom has a detailed history.

Just look up "Carol Danvers" via the little icon that looks like a magnifying glass.

The writers may have included that for plot reasons or to add some badassery to the character
