To all who care about The Golden City and its recent exploits feel free to tune back in! I apologize beforehand for any typos, and for this posts length, but know I actually did try to make it short....its just not my strong suit lol. P.S. I posted this on the Fandom App so it may look different on the main wiki.

Last discussion I pretty much broke down, in a general sense, what's all been going on with the Intergalactic Empire of Wakanda Storyline, and my latest opinion on all of it. Now its time to dig into some of the specifics, which are answers that I finally got after waiting darn near over 2 years for.
1) So we know HOW the Empire came about: Tchalla sends scouts to Space, establishing Wakanda's own Alpha Flight. They end up journeying through a wormhole that distorts time, a day in our time could equal weeks or months within the wormhole. These "Makers"/Space Wakandans at first inhabited their own corner of this side of the galaxy which was presumably uninhabited. They were a peaceful people at first, but on this barbaric end of the universe they faced many invasions and attacks, turning Wakanda's idea of defense into an idea of *proactive defense*, which then became conquest.
2) We know WHERE & WHEN this is all occurring: Time-Distorting Wormhole within the 616 Universe. This edge of the universe has 5 galaxies, each have been conquered by the Space Wakandans.
3) We know HOW these interstellar Wakandans became so powerful, and how they've maintained their power: Each planet they conquered, the more people they subjugated, the more knowledge they gained from advanced societies, and the more powerful they had become. They took the memories of their fallen enemies and used it to their benefit.
We know all those things and the small stuff in between, but let's now discuss....WHY. Why did Tchalla send out his Wakandan Makers/Interstellar Explorers in the first place? Why did he care to establish a Wakandan Alpha Flight far beyond Earth to begin with? The answer is shown in Issue#12 of this series- which is by far one of the best in the whole series. The issue connects things of Tchalla's past, events in past series, and things from YEARS ago to create the idea that this was all apart of the plan to begin with......riiiigght lol. Side bar comment; I'm in agreement with @Tom in regards to the comment he made about King Thor: "I hate when writers are so focused on making callbacks here and there to show it's been in the works all along and they're great masterminds of storytelling, and it's clear as day it wasn't like this all along at all. You're not Tolkien, accept it and move on."- I think its becoming a more frequent thing because Coates has gotten a strong dose of that in this series lol.
ANYWAYS! So why? The issue takes us all the back to "Rise of the Black Panther#1" where it is shown that Tchalla's mother, N'Yami, a genius who dreamt of going far out to the stars and who came up with idea for Wakandan to journey into outer space. Tchalla himself wanted to create the nation's own Alpha Flight NOT just to make his mother's dream a reality, and not to satisfy his own scientific curiosities, but because he and his mother knew the truth. What truth? They knew it was inevitable for the outside world to eventually finally ask: "Where does Vibranium come from?", which would then push them to venture out to the stars. In that moment Wakanda now has to worry about Vibranium being in the hands of their enemies, such were the things N'yami feared, and were the very same threats Tchalla (her son) had to face during his rule- example: Doomwar, Klaw, and more. Tchalla experienced first hand what it could mean for the nation if the outside world, if his and the nation's enemies, got ahold of Vibranium.
So Tchalla uses his genius to find out where the sacred metal came from by somehow "cosmic dating" the vibranium meteor that became The Great Mound, and then through long distance scans, he theorizes its origin in a distant part of the universe (approximately beyond our galaxy). Tchalla sends his scouts, but after months of no communication, he begins to worry, aswell as feel he should've went himself instead of sending out his people. Thus a second voyage with Tchalla leading is launched, and it is in that journey The King became exposed to a Wakandan Empire.
Now the big question is: How did Tchalla become a slave to the Empire? I'll save that for another time family😊! I heavily appreciate all who read and I apologize once more for any typos. Please feel free to state your thoughts below. UNTIL NEXT TIME!
