Oh, wow. So all of that “we can’t find another network” stuff was just trying to save face. Shocking that it wasn’t Perlmutter or Loeb who shut it down.
Even though the Tweets are deleted, this article summarizes it all (including some of the images).
I somehow doubt the 'Most Wanted' pilot was as promising (even if it was an 'AoS' spin-off, I don't believe a word of what Loeb said at this point).
It has been enough time to bring it up here...
Anson got his due. (with a very fitting emoji if you ask me)
Amen. He deserved it. Hopefully we see the Earth-199999 version come back as well.
Lol I saw this in the SHIELD thread and thought something wonderful happened. Can't believe Inhumans was acknowledged (kinda) in a film before AoS smh. But yes it was still a pleasure to see Anson and just that character again
This was the most appropriate place to bring it up, since like it says above, despite the name this is the default to discuss Marvel on network TV. And I do still remember back when it was new, 'Inhumans' being talked about here.
"Can't believe Inhumans was acknowledged (kinda) in a film before AoS smh."
My guess is, Marvel Studios is still working out how they want to re-incorporate AoS into the MCU (if at all). They've already made up their mind about ditching 'Inhumans', so bringing back Anson Mount for a fun bit (explicitly in another universe) doesn't throw off whatever plans they might have for those characters in the future.
It also makes his part in the movie a bit more fun when one of the cameos is from something reviled. It's a well-rounded group.
I wonder how Chloe Bennet feels right now.
(I've said this elsewhere, but it's along the same lines here.)
I like to think that by showcasing individual characters from each franchise, not just from the iconic ones that they've just acquired, but also a "reviled" one like Inhumans; Feige & co. are alleviating any concerns about how Marvel Studios might handle those properties in the future.
Essentially by showing it's all about execution, while also satisfying any popular requested reprisals and fan-castings for the moment, that may or may not happen in the future when it's done properly.
Even if this like 8 years old i can comment right?
Either way im actually watching it for the first time sorry if this is like bit late actually few years late but my first thoughts for the first 5 episodes ive seen its really good i can say its around like a solid 9-10/10 range on their episodes theres some issues but i can pass them side most of the time some of the episodes hopefully doesnt affect anything later in the series..
Might rank them now first 5 episodes ive seen so far
1x05( this is my favorite because we actually finds out about skye and why she was keeping secrets from the agent of shield but i felt bad how they found out and treated her like she was evil yes she made a mistake but they judging her was bullshit in my opinion this was a solid 8/10 in my opinion)
1x01 the pilot really good knowing more about skyes personality.. and also more about the team and what they do was exciting too.
1x03 was an ok episode nothing to exciting for me
1x04
1x02
Honestly i like skye i found her really annoying but after her backstory i just feel bad and loved her more in the 5th episode.
My opinion so far ill finish during my spring break hopefully!
What do you think?
