Oh, this was so satisfying to read. Back in Black could’ve been a good arc...
...if not for it’s follow-up.
That's not his usual behavior but Kingpin had ordered the shot that nearly killed Aunt May (let's not talk about what happened later) and at the time Spidey was still a fugitive after the crapfest that was the first Civil War. Peter was quite stressed, really angry and it's not uncommon for him to get more violent with the villains who have the bright idea to threaten his family/loved ones and Kingpin deserved a lesson. We all know that in the end he would have never killed good old Willie but he crushed him both physically and emotionally and it felt so good
All this to say there was a reason for Spider-Man's behavior
Agreed, especially with the sleek Black Suit.
Unfortunately my love for the black suit cannot overcome my deep hate for the aftermath of this storyline.
Ol big boy got one hell of a spanking lol.
But this is why I like what Spidey PS4 did with Fisk. Even here we see a pissed off Spidey, but Fisk is still standing after contious blows from this dude. We all know Spidey pulls his punches, and most likely wanted to savor Kingpin's ass whooping so he prolly didnt want to finish him too fast. But Fisk taking blows from a pissed Spidey is still very impressive, in my opinion a normal human wouldnt/shouldn't last.. So King Pin HAS to be at some level Superhuman and have superhuman physicality. But comics are comics lol..
King Pin is a normal human fatty taking blows from a pissed off Black Suit Spidey. 1 more thing for me to feel how feel on certain matters.
Great Fight!
^I just always thought anytime we see Peter in black hes at a higher level, not that its tied to the symbiote. My fault 😁
