Would this ever actually work as a movie? i mean i adore the characters for the most part and would love to see them on the big screen but would it actually work with some of the darker content that their stories contain?
They won't sue them. That doesn't make sense. Then you could sue The Boys. And they aren't a ripoff... their more like a slightly twisted copy for Marvel to just make a jab at DC with. DC does it too. Ever heard of Lord Havok? Hes meant to be Dr. Doom. But yeah, being a JLA pastiche, itd never happen.
I've always hoped for a Supreme Power miniseries. Unfortunately yeah, that version of Hyperion is a bit too similar to TV show Homelander, and in general the entire The Boys TV show seems more inspired by Supreme Power than by the actual The Boys books.
