I personally enjoyed the FF run and spidey's run i was mixed on the ultimates (alot to unpack) but i actually liked thor and cap in those stories (even though ive been told cap is a racist i havent really seen any of that maybe im blind)

Every character in that universe is not heroic at all, it's the point of the comic. I don't know if Cap is racist or not, but he's surely too militaristic and bigot. For example when he kicked Banner in the face when he was in his human form to punish him for unleashing Hulk.
