This is why I included the chess match. Even if the winner in the physical battle is obvious, the chess match still leaves room for debate.

^^^ I know. It is such a cool ability that Cin needs to use more. In my headcanon I thought it could be half or 1/3 of Taskmaster's ability but I might be wrong. 😅

Im not sure if it would be quite as proficient as taskmaster. Possibly helpful in a similar way though

Gotta respect how @Slyme went to bat for Cyc in this discussion. He really gave strong arguments of how at the least it wouldn't be an easy fight. Nicely done!

I agree with a lot of what @Slyme was saying but ultimately I'm gonna have to go with Silk here....sorry my brother.

Yes Cyclops is superior in:

-Experience

-Skill

-Equipment/Weaponry (Beams)

-Range

I include fire power and energy projection in this edge..I dont separate these things.

Silk though:

-Strength

-Speed

-Durability

-Versatility

Although Scott has many different settings with his beams, and can ricochet, his beam is still just 1 weapon...1 main ability. Silk on the other hand has many different abilities... Wall Crawling, Spidey Sense, Webbing (which has multiple different uses: grabbing, trapping, blinding, more movement).

Overall @Slyme has shown Cyc is not too far out of his league here, and truthfully both have the potential to easily end each other if they're going all out...so with that said I only see Silk winning 6/10.

I mean i ultimately do agree. I was saying scott is most likely to win if they start with distance. Up close he really is at a disadvantage.

I also only gave cyc a 6/10 victory to because i agree hecs up against a tougher foe
