Anybody have any Batman comic recommendations?

^ What have you already read? And if you haven't already checked it out yet, I consider The Long Halloween to be the all-time best Batman story

Does the Batman have to be Bruce Wayne for me to recommend it?

Bruce Wayne is not Batman.

Batman is occasionally also Bruce Wayne.

Or a Guy named Terry.

Under the Red Hood,

The Long Halloween

The Black Mirror

The Dark Knight Returns

Snyder's 2011 run, volumes 1 and 2, have the others on hold

Batman and Robin (the one with Dick and Damien) volume 1, 2 is on hold

A couple others i can't remember off the top of my head.

I'm open to whatever Batman, but my favorites are Bruce and Dick.

Any recommendations with Ivy, Freeze, Riddler, or Red Hood in them are very welcome.

I mean, you could always read Dark Victory, the sequel to The Long Halloween. It's not as good as The Long Halloween, but I'd still says it's required reading for Batman fans

You haven't read Year One? That's also required reading

I liked the Geoff Johns Batman: Earth One books. It also looks like those books are the inspiration for the upcoming Matt Reeves Batman movie, especially in their interpretation of the Riddler

The Knightfall Trilogy is a classic. That should definitely be on your radar

And while it isn't a typical Batman story, I loved the bit of Gotham Central I read. Didn't finish it because my library doesn't have the whole series, but I loved what little I read.
