It did, and Kyle's ring was never affected by it in the first place, so the Green Lantern Corps has not had a weakness to yellow for just about three decades.

Honestly that feels like even more of an insult to the GL Corps if some random little girl can easily hack their tech.

She didnt hack anything if you would have read the comic you would have known that. Some Alien hacked it or something landed on earth got shot there and she found it.
