I agree that Eternals are obscure but their mythos are interesting imho.
I feel like a lot of Max’s critiques will be answered in the film or the next trailer. This felt like a slightly long teaser. I’m pretty pumped from the film I like the cinematography cause it feels like a lot of the light is natural. I’m so used to either a bright setting or something like bvs in comic book films but just having the natural lighting for the outside scenes without a filter is refreshing. Haven’t seen anything like that since the film Wendy.
Idk the last time I saw a shot like these in the MCU.
The last one caught me off guard and freaked me out lol
@Red
We'll see 🤷🏾♂️. I'll keep my mind open.
Bias aside I honestly think a lot of the scenery shots in BP were better. None of those beat that M'Baku shot, or the Ancestral Plane shot.
BP for sure had some of the greatest scenery in all of the marvel movies.
I loved the Ancestral Plane scenes. I just don’t think they compare. One is obviously really well done cgi to the point where it’s the best in the film(I’m never getting over that CGI Rhino) while enternals(from what we can see) is trying to emulate real world natural lighting. I turned up the saturation in some shots and I think they look a lot better.
For now on whenever I post pictures it will be followed with a photo of Olivia Rodrigo.
If the trailer had that level of color in its shots I would've had less to say. But the unedited pics show it for it is: Dull.
@Red
I really hate people's critique on the films CGI 😆.... I'm just different I guess. Was it the best? No. Does it ruin ones enjoyment? I could see that. Is it that big of deal to ruin a movie? No.
I do agree the film didn't need Rhinos, but I liked it simply for this scene...
Comic ACCURACY!
But anyways, let's leave that alone lol. We're just talking about scenery and shots. Not CGI & Rhinos 😁. I'll give the film it's props for being more natural with lighting and all, but it's also the far more colorless film.... well guessing so far.
What do you think?
