I always felt like certain X-Teams could be considered Being apart of the X-Men.

I mean their x related but not the same.

Like x-men is one thing, but xforce is another entity. Xfactor is completely different again.

They work together at times and are both mutant related, but they arent the same thing.

The xforce is pretty much an extreme radical hit squad. The xmen have long disproved of them.

The xfactor has made a lot of effort to completely stand on their own to. When maddrox led the team, he even scammed a game show to win enough money to become completely independent. After maddrox the team was owned by a private business and had no affiliation with the x-men.

These teams are pretty much in tangent at best. Its like how the thunderbolts are related to the avengers but are in no way the avengers. Or the defenders. They're similar maybe and maybe theres overlap, but its not the same thing.

I see although I still Consider all except the government Version of X-Factor as an X-Men team. X-Force is definitely not an X-Men team.

I dont really think any version xfactor to be xmen really.

They went from:

-government owned

To

-privately owned by maddrox and actively seperate from x-men

To

-own by serveral industries and having nothing to do with xmen

I think only recently did that change with krakoa.

How about the original, it’s literally just the og X-Men😂

Still, the bulk of their history was completely seperate with a completely seperate purpose.

So I’m right but I’m wrong😅

I mean even in the original story, wasnt the point of the story that each member had left the x-men?

Im pretty sure if i remember correctly, the original team gathered because they had all left the x-men for their own reasons and they no longer felt the x-men represented the dream they believed in. So they started xfactor as a new team with a new mission that was completely seperate from the x-men.
