*SPOILER ALERT* WHAT IF EPISODE 4 IS AMAZING

Up until now I’ve enjoyed what if but not to the extent that I enjoyed Wandavision or Loki.

We all know episode 1 was bland, 2 was good, 3 was equally as good maybe a little worse.

But WOW! Talk about a great way to get me excited for No Way Home and Multiverse of madness.

Excellent voice acting, great story, definitely felt unique from the MCU but didn’t seem too out of place.

From here in out I will be spoiling;

The montage of Strange watching his love die over and over again strangely reminded me of the montage from Up. It was very touching. The fight scenes were visually spectacular. If I had to really nitpick I would say that Wong could’ve been animated a little bit better and maybe let Benedict be a little more expressive. Besides that it was truly an amazing episode, and I hope we don’t see anymore from this character because I felt it was wrapped up perfectly.

I agree with FraBig, ep. 1 was better than 2.

I'd put ep. 3 in between them, but closer to the top spot than the bottom.

I'm not sure where I'd rank ep. 4, yet. It kinda feels like it's cut from a slightly different cloth than the others. After all the personal despair, and struggle and loss; that ultimate tragedy followed by the credit music just overwhelmed me. Damn you, AC Bradley, for making me cry.

@AedanKarate I am a comic book reader, more than an MCU fan.

So the fact it included already known characters didn't affect my judgment on that episode, considering I know probably ten times the characters that appeared in the MCU.

Furthermore, correct me if I'm wrong, no episode of What If...? introduced brand-new characters.

So I don't really get your point.

I enjoyed Episode 3 the most because:

It involves many characters, showing consequences of a single action on many people.
It's set in the early MCU, which is my favourite MCU phase.
It features scenes/settings/characters from The Incredible Hulk, often overlooked.
And the main reason: Hank Pym is my favourite comic book character, and that episode features him as Yellowjacket, with a nice costume. And he's basically the character with more spotlight in the entire episode.
Seeing the Avengers dying is a dark twist in the MCU, where everything always seems to go as expected.

The first episode had Captain Carter, second episode Star Lord T’challa, 4th episode had Evil doctor strange. This is what I mean by unknown characters, all of these characters are unique to the show, Yellowjacket is directly from the comics and I do have to say I do not like Hank Pym.

I think my main reason for disliking it is all the stupid jokes and quips they tried to fit into an episode that could be a lot better
