With your leader now in place, the cornerstone of your team is set and you can proceed to build around them. However, you must consider the possibility that your leader could be dispatched in combat…
That being said, will your team fall apart without them?
Certainly not, as it’s time to draft your second in command.
The criteria for your second in command is less stringent than that of your last draft, but keep in mind:
1) What is the relationship between your leader and your second in command?
2) Is there a history between them? Should there be?
3) Will they work well together, especially under duress?
The General Draft Guidelines still apply, but with one added caveat:
NO CHARACTER, WHO HAS BEEN LOCKED AT ANY STAGE OF THE DRAFTING PROCESS, MAY BE CHOSEN AGAIN.
Refer to the list below to know who can’t be drafted 😉
General Draft Guidelines:
1) Once a team locks in a character AND that character is approved, no other team is permitted to use that character.
2) Must be a resident of Earth 616. Transplants from other Earths and deceased characters are still in play. Current versions of each character are the ones in play and god-tier/ omnipotent characters are prohibited.
3) Clones, LMDs, etc are acceptable, but not duplicates of the same character. Meaning that, if Steve Rogers is selected, then Steve Rogers from any time in 616 is off the table.
4) There is strategy in being quick to select, but there is also strategy in waiting to see what your opponents do.
5) You and your partner must BOTH AGREE on your draft. Any disagreement will lead to the immediate invalidation of your pick and that character will go back into the candidate pool.
