What is a code redeem?

Are you referring to the words in bold on top? It means the digital comic has been claimed by another user and the code for it does not work anymore

I hope this is an exception for posting on old threads. I did in fact buy What If Miles Morales becomes the Hulk? but Marvel comics changed it's way of redeeming the digital code. It's much more difficult and a hassle now. It used to be that Marvel provided the code onto the comics themselves, but now I have to take a photo of the comic, send it via email to Marvel, and then get a code

I was at Alaska at the time (I'm home at Minnesota for vacation now) and the internet connection is horrible there. In my phone at least
