It's really just campy to a fault.
Sam Raimi loves camp, and screaming women more than anything.
Dialogue is just bad.
Scenes are often horrible
And if you took a shot for every screaming women in the series, you'd go home with alcohol poisoning
There isn't a lot of screaming woman in DSitMoM, a film directed by Sam Raimi, and also, he specializes in horror, like in one of my favorite franchises, the Evil Dead, so if you don't like horror you wont like DSitMoM or Sam Raimi's movies.
This post isn't talking about MoM, it's talking about the spider-man trilogy, which is what I was referring to. Part of his creative style for the film was to litter it with screaming women
^ Still, the fact remains your argument is non-sensical, since "realism" isn't something the MCU aims for, at least anymore.
That's called horror writing, if you don't like screaming women, then you'll be very disappointed with other horror. And even though the Spidey trilogy wasn't necessarily a horror franchise, it had more elements of it then a lot of other Marvel movies, and it just shows how people would actually react if put into a position of the civilians in the trilogy.
Spider-man trilogy sinply wasnt horror. It was campy. It was often poorly made. But not horror.
Made by a director who really only has one skill, which is camp. But that still leaves my critique to be valid
And lets never forget, the amazing quality of production.
Heres mary jane swinging in a mannequin in a spidey costume while her hair blows the wrong way
This is pretty much the average priduction quality for these movies
Screaming women does not mean a horror movie lol
And even if we judge spider-man by horror standards, that would make it bottom of the barrel, because its an absolute horrible horror movie if thats the case 😂😂
My complaints:
Cheesy dialogue
Some bad characters (mainly MJ, flat character if any)
Ruined harry's arc
