The way i see it is cap would probably lead a strategy that sends out its heavy hitters into direct combat:

-hulk

-thor

-the thing

-luke cage

-jean grey

-rogue

Others would be used for range and incapacitation:

-cyclops

-gambit

-invisible woman

-even reed could be used for incapacitation attempts or slowing

Spiderman could be used for slowing agile heavy strikes. We've seen him do this with fighting phoenix colossus and magik.

Some would be focused on airial strike

-human torch

-iron man

Wolverine could act as a distraction because he wouldnt be concerned about damage. So go in and be the pesky destraction while others function higher.

The street tier characters would focus of civilian clearing. Daredevil and cap would simply be no use in the fight.

And Heroes for Hire: Luke Cage and Iron Fist. And Fantastic Four: Human Torch, the Thing, Invisible Woman and Mister Fantastic.

All at once he isn't winning against those odds, hell he didn't even take on all of JL numbers at once. But is this a KO or to the Death and are we not counting recovery or coming back from the dead?

Heroes win for sure thor and hulk alone could pull it off and doomsday has been beaten to death on multiple occasions make of it what you will it has happened.

They could have Pym shrink him and Hulk hurl him into space.
