Well, his baby got abducted, he was nearly manipuled at the risk of persecution of his entire family, then a ton of other bad shit that took the entire new avengers to resolve.
The reasoning was just "because cap asked".
They could have picked anyone else to run the team
They could have.
If Jessica had joined the Avengers she wouldn't had been his wife.....she would've been Steve's wife lol
I mean, we know if cap asked luke to do something, he would do it. Because he trusts him, and respects him. Cap chose Luke, because cap trusts him, and thinks he's the best man for the job. That's what I think, at least. It seems reasonable. In-universe.
I just think its dumb for a character to leave a team and oursue further character growth only to leave the career to rejoin the same team one step forward, one step back
Yeah. Marvel characters are not consistent like that.
Because every writer wants to do their own shit.
Writers who respect the lore, and actually read the previous stories, are quite rare.
Like Jed Mackay, and Al Ewing.
Im pretty sure Cage was also leading the thunderbolts at the time and the three roles just blended weird
So this guy was leading the avengers. And a team that's mostly consisting of villains?
What do you think?
