Logan is a canadian caucasic man. Not hispanic or something else.
^ @Slyme quin had an idea of indigenous Logan and, honestly, I see the vision. He'd still be Canadian, dw.
Well that wasn't an original idea on my part. That idea actually came from an academic paper that recognized Wolverine as an Indigenous hero, regardless of if he ever had indigenous ancestry.
Though a lot of his characterization does make sense to be indigenous or Metis.
He was born in Alberta during a pretty colonial time. He has inherent connection to the land and to animals. A significant part of history involves having his identity erased and being manipulated by the Canadian Government. At several points in comics we see Logan living amongst and being closely bonded to various indigenous groups.
Pretty well all of that aligns a lot more with a first nations character or Metis character than it does a European.
So to me I've always seen it as fitting for Logan to be Metis at very least. That to me fits better. I would be down to see something like that done.
Though I lost a lot of interest in the movies. Frankly probably wont watch future movies anyways.
@Anastasia Beaverhausen aka Karen Walker All Canadians aren't Caucasian. Logan's nationality has no bearing on his ethnicity.
And his ethnicity has little bearing on his character, excluding a few writers/stories.
What do you think?
