Maybe, but I'm asking you to analyze the immediate impacts it had, not the lasting ones. Doesn't really matter if the impacts mattered or not. A scratch can be buffed out but that doesn't mean it never happened.

I’ve also read Avengers Inc, Black Widow, Hellcat, Secret Invasion, all cancelled. From what I hear, Krakoa was some mutant homeland/paradise, complete with resurrection machine or some such, which must be why mutants have stayed away from the books I read. X-books have withdrawn into their own corner of the Marvel Universe, and that’s fine with me.

I never saw or read about their medicines in any comic, other then the X-Men titles.

The only reference to krakoa, that I caught was like:

"where X-Men/that mutant character???"

"On island"

The same thing in multiple comics.

They had no impact on the rest of the marvel universe, as far as I know.

I guess now the superhero community thinks that x-men are kinda assholes.

Honestly After the Judgment Day event, I slowly started getting fatigued with marvel and stopped reading. I dont remember where i left off but I had just finished that Mr. Sinister event where everyone is made into a Sinister version and the future ends badly. I finished that and somewhere shortly after just stopped reading.

I liked Krakoa, one day i'll see how it ends im sure. But I lost interest right as the beginning of the "Fall of X" started. Not lost interest in Krakoa really, but all of marvel. I just felt more like a chore to keep current, and if it doesnt spark joy then why read.

So I'm not sure i have much to add! It seemed impactful.

The medicines in theory should change all of marvel, same with the many technologies they had. I mean ultimately I don't know how they undid all of it, because the krakoans cured pretty well all decease, all mental illness, and extended human life. They also corrected for housing, food shortage, and death itself. I'm curious how all of it got written away, but i don't much care at this point. I'm not a big fan of how marvel "changes things forever" only to change back to status quo a little down the road.

I heard from one person that he misses those times in Marvel: dead means completely dead. Without the possibility of resurrection. As I understand it, this is the place where mutants or maybe some other characters are resurrected?

I don't think there was a time when dead characters stayed dead.

Even marvel at its height used hijinx to explain away death. only a handful of character had permanent death, and you can count them on one hand. This isn't a "back in the good old days" thing, the good old days were just as bad.
