Marvel has layers of fictional science to make their ideas work. But real science doesn't really support the idea of most scifi. With marvel you have a like a mix of fictional metals and fictional rules and fictional energy sources to make half of their tech work. I mean all of Wakanda operates on a fictional metal that is both magical and scientific that absorbs kinetic energy, which literally derives from space.
There is also a lot of user of Gamma in a way which is completely fictionalized in its function. Even Iron man uses technology that has no basis in reality really.
