To even out the fight a tad, Betsy does not have her Captain Britain powers.
Today i thought in honour of Pride Month, we could reminise of the queer love that was never fully shown.
For those who dont know, Daken and Johney Storm had a close and intimate... Friendship... That was subject to clear gay tension.
Johney and Daken kept their love unspoken, and it was never quite shown.
Though when the writer was asked "did Johney and Daken have a relationship?" Her response was this tweet:
I mean look how cute they were
Now many fans consider this tweet confirmation that they did have a relationship. It was never confirmed on panel.
Personally i love believing they did in fact date.
Unfortunately after Johney came back from the Dead, Daken was in a bad mental health space and was in the process of trying to kill himself. Daken cant die easily, so when he found out his dead... Friend.... Came back to life, he was insulted, because real people should stay dead. He found it nearly insulting
Now im curious, what do yall think of the Johney Akihiro love? Do you validate it?
Personally i like to think of it as confirmed 😘🌈

Due to the fact these two have some of the best healing factors in marvel, this battle's victory is marked by "till bested in combat, incapacitation, or KO". whichever might come first. For example, if one party is injured so badly they would need to allow their regeneration to heal themselves before continueing, then the battle would be over and they would have lost. So none of the "deadpool can't die" bologna.

Equipment: deadpool has standard equipment he normally has on his person, but does not have his magical gun bag that has access to all weapons.

So! Which, out of all the Marvel couples, are your top three favorite? My first is Cable and Esme Cuckoo. I don't know why.
Second for me is Daken and Aurora, and third favorite is BP and Storm.
