Andrew Maguire (Earth-616)

Hey guys, so I’m trying to figure out if this character who’s supposed to be Spider-Man’s “side-kick” still a canon character, due to how powerful he is considered to be/become? I happen to like this character a lot and was wondering if he’s still canon enough to be in the MCU/Comics?

So is no one gonna mention this OP character that is a supposed “sidekick” to one of the most popular characters (Spider-Man) ever in marvel history?!

Why hasn’t his story been expanded?! He is the only human who’s power comes from somewhere that isn’t cosmic, or mystical! Yet they do explain that it’s somehow connected to the expansion of the universe but his biology wasn’t even affected so he’s not a mutate or mutant of any kind, he basically triumphs over any and all supposed omega or beyond omega level threats!

I get how some people feel about characters who are just basically OP for no reason but most of the characters in marvel who had power get explanations and backgrounds that make em essential for their respective reality or whatever but he is something else...like just ordinary C-average high schooler! No genetics from an alien race or supposed destined being like Wiccan or anything and I personally love that for reasons like someone completely ordinary capable of great things without having a strong moral compass (not being meant to be a great savior or maybe destroyer) he has a choice in this sense of matter and he doesn’t have a grasp of anything like he’s not learning to be “normal” or how to be a god with all these different concepts of life or whatever he’s just existing and I love it!
