If you guys remember, when I first started to discuss on this wiki, I posted a title that said "Actors Who are born to play future Marvel roles...", where I cast Chloë Grace Moretz as GwenPool. Ya, bad casting choice, I know. Anyway, I going to redo it again, (the casting choice not the post) this time I choose Kiernan Shipka as the Pink Slayer. She has the look, she's played Sabrina in the Chilling Adventures of, well, Sabrina and if you watched the show you know she has experience acting. Especially with crazy, strong-willed characters.

Plus she's 22, so she's close to the age of the character she's playing.

So what do you think of this casting choice, and who else do you think should play this character?

Mads Mickelson as Docter Doom

(Yes, I'm aware he's already playing a Marvel character, and I still don't care. In my opinion, he was born to play this role).

I need some recommendations of comics that don't require too much background knowledge.

Fantastic Four

This is just a post to basically introduce myself. I have made some posts but i am still kinda new. My name is Max, i love marvel, but know a lot more about the MCU movies than the comics. My favorite characters in the Mcu and comics are Loki, Cosmic ghost rider, Gwenpool, and venom.

Mine would probably be young avengers or gwenpool.

Gwenpool (Defense and Propaganda)- an artist and mercenary who would do well in the Propaganda and Defense department due to her violent behavior and love for comic books.

Ms. Cabot (defense and intelligence)- would do well in the intelligence and defense department due to connection to the Hellfire Club and psychological warfare.

Nuklo (Defense)- would do well in defense department due to violent nature and dim intelligence.

Shard Bishop (Defense)- would do well due to orderly and violent nature. Would be a field leader.

So, recently I was asked if UG or GSB is better. So, I came up for 5 different categories to score them on, on a scale of 1 to 10. Art, Gwenpool-Ness, Story, Rereadability, and Overall Comedy. So, let's begin!

ART:

UG - 6/10 It starts out with absolutely terrible art. It is... garbage. But, by the end of the series, they've changed art to a completely cartoony and fitting design. It works wonderfully, but I cant excuse the other art.

GSB - 7/10 It's consistent. Consistently medicore. It doesn't deserve better than a 7, but it doesn't deserve any lower.

Gwenpool-Ness:

UG - 9/10 - Her character starts out terrible, we hate her. I mean, killing people because they're fictional? I mean, she of all people should understand that killing characters off would have major consequences. But, by the end we care about her and she becomes a really great character.

GSB - 8/10 Very Gwenpool. Very good characterization. But all of the development happens in the last issue. So it feels very rushed, so yeah.

Story:

UG - 9/10 AGGGGGGGHHHH IT'S SO GOOD! It's such an amazing balance of comedy (stay tuned) and heartfelt wonder...

GSB - 7/10 Again, it feels mediocre. Very rushed at the end to get the emotional stuff in. But the rest of the series feel great.

Rereadability:

UG - 8/10 Amazing! I reread it a lot! But I reccomend you wait a bit between rereads.

GSB - 5/10 Not much. Maybe reread it every year or so.

Overall Comedy:

UG - 8/10 Most of the early jokes fall flat, but the later ones get a chuckle or two. But yeah, I can't think of any good jokes from it off the top of my head.

GSB - 7/10 Really quite funny, but it's the kind of funny where you go "hah" and then forget it happened mostly.

Total Tallies:

UG - 40/50 or 80/100

GSB - 34/50 or 68/100

I dont know... I didn't expect GSB to do so badly. Odd. I totally recommend them both, but the numbers don't lie, so... check out Unbelievable I guess. But I really like them both! But I guess you should start with Unbelievable.
