After reading a some recent guardians of the galaxy, I became quite puzzled when seeing Hercules and Marvel boy relationship unfolding. If I remember correctly Hercules was known to be a serial womanizer, he’s even been to the playboy mansion on multiple occasions, so my question is if this was just poor writing or marvel was trying to be PC let me know in the comments
Hey everyone 😉
It’s been quite a while since I’ve garnered your thoughts on my personal team and, after a couple of roster changes, here is the newest incarnation 😌 Some old faces, some new faces, but your thoughts remain permanently invaluable.
1) Captain America (Steve)
2) Winter Soldier
5) Captain Marvel (Carol)
6) Blue Marvel
I love hearing any and all ideas, positive and negative, so feel free to share! You can’t hurt my feelings, I promise 😂👍🏻
Consider the following:
1) Does this team make sense? Relationally speaking?
2) What potential exists for inter-character dynamics, both good and bad?
3) What kind of team would you classify them as? Spec ops, All purpose, etc.
4) What kind of narrative arcs would interest you with this team?
5) Potential villains?
All comments are much appreciated, my Marvel family 😉
Alright, that’s enough. It’s time to get started.
For those of you who are asking yourselves what you’ve just gotten yourself into, the answer is simple:
In other words, it’s a master class in which we will revamp, reimagine, and reconstruct the weapons and gear of characters throughout the Marvel universe ⚔️🛡
The parameters of what you can do here are limited only by your own imagination. Be it a minuscule tweak or a massive overhaul, your concepts can take any form or shape in which you so choose 🤔
Here in Metal Shop:
1) You can MODIFY a character’s pre-existing load out, like adding a new feature to their armor/ gear/ weapons.
2) You can REDESIGN a character’s armor/ gear/ weapons to better suit your own vision of what they should be.
3) You can CREATE entirely new armor/ gear/ weapons, including all original pieces.
4) You can SKETCH your ideas to provide your colleagues with a visual.
5) You can DESCRIBE your ideas and provide reference images if you aren’t the artistic type.
6) You can COLLABORATE with others on their ideas as you get feedback on your own.
Hercules and the Golden Mace
Get to work. You have a lot to do, and very little time to do it in. There are no breaks, here.
Only Metal Shop.
You have a total of 21 questions. Work together and use the wisely.
Each participant has 3 guesses. If you have no guesses left, you lose.
Only yes or no questions. If it’s a complicated question, the host can answer with maybe.
You have to either let at least two other people ask a question or wait half an hour before asking a new one yourself.
The character has to be from Earth-616. Exceptions are characters such as X-Man, Miles, and Gamora.
The character must have appearances equal to or greater than the number of years since they’ve been introduced, so they aren’t too obscure. Characters such as Mendel Stromm are unacceptable. Each host should choose a character not yet done.
Be kind and polite, and don’t start any fights.

I've been looking at the issues where Thor first met Hercules and I think I figured it out. Chronologically, they first encountered each other in Avengers #10 (1964), but that was retconned into the Space Phantoms in Avengers Forever #8 (1994). That leaves Thor Annual 1 (1965) which I think was going to be an imaginary story until it was made "real" in Journey Into Mystery #125 (1965). The problem is Thor Annual 5 (1966) when the Olympians and Asgardians clash over worship rights - probably around 390 BC when Germanic tribes started invading the Roman Empire. This would then be their first meeting as rivals, but then they must not recognize each other by Thor Annual 1 (1965) for that account to be relevant. I can only guess that they just don't recognize each other or Thor lost his memories of the incident because of a cycle of Ragnarok occurring in between. There was a Ragnarok around 1 AD mentioned in Thor #293 that would suggest this. Does anyone have anything other to add?
