Spider man across the spider verse will introduce the underrated obscure villain the spot and everyone thinks he is gonna be the main villain in the movie...................... but let's face it he won't because we know who the spot really is and why i think that someone is using him! and making him cause this disaster because they want you to think he is the main bad guy and let me explain why.
so let's talk about the spot first so Jonathan Ohnn isn't a villain out for power because the spot is just a criminal theft and that is how he always been we know he is that in the movie because we can see him stealing stuff, like if you already know why Jonathan Ohnn became a villain is kinda very dumb in the comics because it was just plain dumb because the spot could of been a hero and use his powers for the greater good But why is the spot doing this? Why is he making a catastrophic disaster like we see him doing well? I think I know why and that someone is making him doing this.
I believe the Spot is begin forced by someone to do this and maybe he can't even tell them the truth because whoever is doing this to him is watching him like the spot has been used and captured by other villains to use his power for their own plans but what could they be doing that they are making him to do this well here is what i think.
so the Spot has a son in the comics named Wyatt and he really cares about him as he was caught in the crossfire of a Russian Mob hit, and his father vowed to take his revenge on them. so my theory is his son will be in this and someone out there caught his son and forced to spot to do there work to do this in order to get his son back in peace that's what i think is really going on of why he is doing this they have something important he cares and he is doing this so he can get his son back even though what he is doing isn't good but he really has no choice at all that is what i believe could be really happening.
like miles and the others might know about it but Miguel and the Spider-Society believe there is no other way and that they think the spot must be destroyed for good and we might see him trying to help the spot because he knows he is a not really a bad guy we all know that from the first time he meets him and he wants to help him and stop the real hidden mastermind who is making him do this.
Like we see the Spot like this and I believe he is being corrupted by someone because they are trying to take control of him but who is the real Threat behind this? well i think it's the Inheritors that many fans hope see in the movie who we know want to Kill all Spider-Totems and Rule the multiverse and that's why they are making the spot do this they want him to get rid of all the spider people that ever exist like we might see one of them in the movie and they will tease the rest of them in beyond the spider-verse as the main villains that's what i believe.
But yeah that's my Theory I really believe that is what is going on I have strong feeling it Might be true as i think they want you to think the spot is the main villain because i know that could be the twist and big revealed in the movie, like maybe it could be a bit different from my Theory in a way but still be the same that someone is using him and making him do this But i guess we gotta wait and find out until the movie comes out.
