I still remember the most bizarre thing in Comic-Con 2024, when Doctor Doom was revealed to be the main villain of the Multiverse Saga for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I think it would've been cool to have Kang the Conqueror as the main villain of the Multiverse Saga through his many different versions (maybe including his primary version from the comics), but it was disappointing that Jonathan Majors, the man who played Kang, was charged for assault. Thankfully, Jonathan Majors won the case and had his charge dropped, but still, the people at Marvel Studios made the decision to have Doctor Doom as the main villain of the Multiverse Saga instead of Kang the Conqueror.
The thing is, it was incredibly bizarre that the people at Marvel Comics chose Robert Downey Jr. to play Doctor Doom! I was utterly surprised, and I bet that's how everyone else felt about it.
And here are two questions about the situation:
Are Marvel fans, in general, going insane about Robert Downey Jr. playing Doctor Doom?
Who should've played Doctor Doom instead of Robert Downey Jr.?
