Does anyone here have any questions about anything MCU-related? Are there any theories you think may be true but never had the evidence to prove? I would love to hear your thoughts and try to answer them. (You will get the credit for the theory it's self)
I have all the evidence to prove Doctor Strange is a villain. Let's go over the basics first. Doctor Strange has been in 6 movies in his current MCU. He is NOT an Avenger but still has a vital role in the films.
Now let’s go over how he became who he was. Doctor Strange was known as Stephen Vincent Strange and was a neurosurgeon. He always wanted to be right. And was a self-centered person with a nasty prideful personality. 1 day he was driving home and he got in a crash because of his reckless driving and lost use of his hands. A career-ending disability. He then learned about a place he could go to get the use of his hands back and that was the only reason he went there. He saw everyone there and became power-hungry. He learned more and more but didn't want to stick with the curriculum and he snuck to learn things he shouldn't have. And he stole the Time Stone
Well, he was going to become the next Sorcerer Supreme when in all reality Wong should have become the next Sorcerer Supreme. While Wong did happen to be able to take the job that's still a key factor.
Now how does this all fit into Doctor Strange being a villain? Well, The main problem comes in during Infinity War and Endgame, when Doctor Strange claimed that there was only 1 way to save the Universe. Yeah, that's 100% not the case. There a probably lots more ways to save the universe. 2 things could have happened. 1. all the other ways to save the Universe including him dying Or he picked which 1 worked out for him the most. Where he lived and Tony Stark dies.
Well, wait? Didn't Doctor Strange give up the Time Stone to save Tony? No. Let's Think about it. 2 big factors prove this. 1st Doctor Strange is supposed to know everything that's happening right? So how did he not know that the first Stones of Reality(Infinity Stones) were taken? 2nd thing why did he just give up the Time Stone? If he never gave up the Time Stone Thanos never could have won. But what if Thanos was going to kill Doctor Strange trying to get the Time Stone? Well like we said Strange probably did not want to die so he crossed out that option. Like we said he does not want to die. Well, why does he want Tony dead? Well probably because Tony doesn't like Strange already and Strange sees that as a threat to him.
We also see in the next movie No Way Home Doctor Strange doesn't care about people at all. He clearly says it. Now that movie doesn't matter but to show how he doesn't care but now we have Multiverse Of Madness. this is a big breakthrough. For 3 reasons. 1st Something Wanda says. She says, "When I bend reality for my benefit I'm the villain when you do it you're the hero," and those words are big. So if we think about it. If Wanda is a villain Isn't Doctor Strange just as bad? While that is not what I'm playing all my cards on it is still a big factor. 2nd thing that we see is every other version of Doctor Strange is a villain. he is the only hero version of Doctor Strange. What if Doctor Strange is only plotting for something really big so he puts on the hero's face and is waiting for the right time? 3rd thing we see is him reading the book of Darkhold. And any reader that reads that has to accept being possessed by an Evil spirit! And that third Eye we see that supposedly lets Strange see everything. While that is true in reality that's the aftermath of his reading Darkhold.
So what does this all mean to you? Have I made a good enough argument?
Is quasar an interesting character? Also, do you think he will show up in MCU?
Hi,
I am huge fan of Marvel and also a PHD student from Sorbonne Nouvelle University in Paris and my research is about representation and reception of queer identities in superhero Marvel works. I lead several interview about it and I am looking for new or early Marvel fans who would like to talk about these topics with me.
If you’re interested, please contact me on Facebook or on my professionnal email : alexis.trepier@sorbonne-nouvelle.fr to discuss the different aspects of this video interview.
Anyone know what this even is anymore? It "moved" in MoM of it's own accord, but shouldn't it be empty now? So what is the point of it? Is it still the "Eye of Agamotto", even though the time stone isn't in it? Thoughts?
One moment, I'm flipping out cuz Charlie Cox Daredevil shows up at the end of the She-Hulk: Attorney at Law trailer.. The next minute, I'm on the verge of tears after seeing T'Challa memorials in the Black Panther: WAKANDA FOREVER trailer just moments before we get out first official look at MCU Namor (he's looking THICC, btw.. Nyummm)..
Not to mention all the upcoming projects (from the 2nd seasons of Loki & What If..? to the 18-episode Daredevil Disney+ series) slated within the next 3 years, wrapping up with TWO AVENGERS MOVIES in 2025 - The Kang Dynasty & Secret Wars.. Just when I thought my heart could still take it, those last two reveals nearly gave me a heart attack..
