I decided that it would be cool to see what everyone's favorite variant of a certain hero is (since there's dozens of variants for every major hero). The variant of the character can be from any universe/timeline.
Today let's do spider man, since
he has the highest amount of variants byfar.
Welcome to A Matter of Powers, the show where I ask a question about someone's superpowers (Or abilities) and you debate it in the comments.
In the first issue we discuss my favorite character, Miguel O'Hara (Earth-928)
Make sure to read through his page before entering the discussion.
Miguel is ranked given a 4 on the Power Grid for speed, but he's been known to move so fast that he creates duplicates of himself. Now, how fast do you have to be to do this? The Power Grid states that a 4 is equal to the speed of sound, Cindy Moon is also ranked at a 4, but then, why can't she create duplicates of herself?
Is she able to, but hasn't figured out how to?
Maybe it's not even a matter of speed in the first place, maybe Miguel can duplicate himself at any point and just needs to reach subsonic speeds to access this ability.
Or maybe Cindy has and I'm just dumb.
A divergence from both earth-616 and earth-928 when Miguel O' Hara (Spiderman 2099) was teleported by accident to the past on the day Peter Parker (Spiderman) was bitten by radioactive spider like Amazing Spider-Man & Silk: The Spider(fly) Effect Infinite Comic series. What are your thoughts on what would happen?

At night in Brooklyn
Standard levels and equipment
Start 10 feet from each other
Round two: Hazmat vs Silk

Round three: Hazmat vs. Spiderman 2099

Located in the 2099 future

Round four: Hazmat vs. Miles Morales
To death, ko, or incapacitation

On this wiki, the Spider-Man 99 appearing in the Spider-Verse is listet as Miguel O'Hara from Earth-TRN588, altough being listed as his Earth-928 counterpart in the Spider-Verse comics and the Spider-Geddon handbook. Could that be changed?
I don't know if you saw that too, but i'll just go straight to the thing...
The simple problem is: There are too many of them and they are classified wrong. Originally, Spider-Man 99 came from the 616 future, which was later labeled as Earth-829, but over the course of the years, many writers have done logical fails which led to Marvel admitting that there are indeed now three different Spider-Man 99. Plus, for instance in Spider-Verse, Miguel's Reality was called 616, which just leads to more confusion (because if we are able to see that it is annother reality, they should be too). Marvel tried to obviously solve this problem with, well, killing them off, but there are still too much.
Do you guys agree with me?
