So, who's actually an Avenger in the MCU?

Something has been brought to my attention that unless a person has been officially announced as an Avenger, then they're not. Like, in Quantumania, when Scott refers to Darren has an Avenger, does that make him an Avenger now? And what about Hope? Although she was a part of the Avengers during Endgame, and Captain America called for everyone to assemble, he referred to everyone as Avengers. Does that mean Hope is an Avenger now too?

And when Shang-Chi and his (girl)friend (forgot her name) are summoned by Wong, can we assume now that they're both Avengers? Is Wong even an Avenger?

Since the rights to iron fist are back to Disney do u think we will see a post credit scene / a cameo from iron Fist or any related characters to him in Shang chi for example
