I know she’s his clone but I always like seeing how similar Peter and Jessica look. Like you can see how he was reverse engineered to make her.

Saw the AvX between the two but seems the fight never happened
Who would win in a moral off, death battle?
Gambit
Spider-Woman

Recap:
We start where we left off with Anti-Arach9 attacking Jess who orders Carol to take her kid and niece to safety. While she's busy fighting some of them, Gemalas Espadas de Toledo fight Lindsay McCabe, the Stuntwoman and insult her by calling her a babysitter. Spider-Woman fights with Percy, one of brothers Grimm, whom she mistakes for Barton (she misspells it as Burton) because she doesn't even remember them, despite them being her oldest foes. Then Stegron attacks her because he's angry for stealing his DNA. When Jess blames Octavia and asks why he's working for Vermis, Stegron says that it's because Octavia is hot. After defeating Stegron, Jess moves to Lady Bullseye and takes one of her katanas (or rathet "Katanarrrgh!") and, after Lady B is distracted with rubber snakes and has her arm broken, Drew gives it to Lindsay. After zapping another Grimm brother Spider-Woman and her friend defeat the brothers with the swords. Drew has a problem with Vermis, her brother and Rose Roché but Rebecca Marchand rides in on the T-rex with guns. Jessica takes down Rose and Aeturnum but Octavia takes over the dinosaur. Luckily, she gets run over by Krazy Goat, whose dead wife's AI (?) convinced him that their truck shouldn't be used for revenge. After zapping Octavia to the bone, Spider-Woman is injured but victorious. She still has to go to Madripoor with Lindsay.
Pros:
Good conclusion of the series filled with references to previous issues.
A lot of action.
Funny onomatopeias.
Cons:
Loose ends with Lindsay McCabe.
CONCLUSION:
I definitely liked this run. It was filled with action and humour. The art by Perez was great. I also liked new villains and members of supporting cast and inclusion of the old ones (too bad Roger broke up with her tho😢).
If you haven't read that run: WTF are you waiting for!? 😂
And if you have, what are your thoughts?
A random villain wants to rise up the criminal corporate ladder. To that end, he wants to take out an avenger with whatever means possible (ie. assassination, straight fight, traps) and make a name for himself
Who should he target and how would he go about doing it?
New Avengers team:
Black Panther, Spider-Woman, Sentry, Spider-Man, Captain America
Iron Man, Luke Cage, Wolverine
In their last encounter, Peter used Way of the Spider and easily knocked Jessica out cold. But what if Spider-Woman had injected herself with Marchand Serum and got the huge power boost? Is it enough to give the first Spider-Woman finally the win? Or will she once again fall to Peter who remains as the strongest spider hero?
Ok.. I know this could be a little bit lame but I haven't been here for a long time and I'd like to know your preferences.
Btw Mine is Spider Woman
Daredevil & Bullseye
Random Encounter
Location: Building Rooftop
Both teams are on each other bounty kill list
Elektra & Spider-Woman

During this issue, the Anti-Arach9 forms while Jess is doing yoga and chilling out with Lindsay. Several villains try to get to her to be recruited: King Damian, a Moon Beetle who encountered Spider-Woman and Captain Marvel in #6, rolls at her straight into traffic and gets hit by a car (and seemingly dies) off-panel. Fireball with Jenn & Tonic ("the mad contortionist and demented surgeon extraordinaire") as well as Chad O'Nay (Irish assassin from Madripoor foiled by Jess and McCabe) make up All-New Seekers. They attack Jess while she's talking with Lindsay about dealing with the lattter's shady business in Madripoor. Drew deals them a lot of emotional damage. Los Espadas talk about their feud with Spider-Woman and how they escaped prison, all of which takes two hours. Later, a new guy with Krazy Goat written on his clothes presents himself: Perry P. Parrish and his wife shared the love for monster tracks. When she died she gave him a monster truck which was later destroyed in one of Spider-Woman's fights. When asked how he's going to prove himself, he says that he already did that by flattening her bike, which impresses everyone. Last but not least, Bruiser makes a two-minute presentation that makes him and Lady Bullseye accepted. And with that the Anti-Arach9 is complete: Octavia Vermis, Aeturnum, Rose Roché, Los Espadas Gemelas de Toledo (count as one), Stegron, Brothers Grimm, Lady Bullseye and Bruiser. At the last few panels Jessica and Lindsay prepare for their travel to Madripoor. Carol will look after Gerry. Speaking of Danvers, Rebecca is embarassed when she sees her idol. As Jessica goes outside, she notices a pizza man... and her enemies!
Pros:
Funniest issue yet.
A lot of obscure villains @BANEkilla98 might recognise.
Cons:
None?
What do you think?
I'm only back for this review and a couple of others (Silk, Phoenix Song: Echo etc.) and besides that I'll be lurking.

This issue starts where we left off. Veranke, posing as Spider-Woman, takes Gerry with her but Linda Carter realises she's fake after asking about the cast. Spider-Woman attacks her but the Skrull immediately puts Gerry in the truck. Jess tells Linda to get help and she rushes off to save her son. Iron Man appears but Jess knows it's Veranke. Meanwhile, little Drew beats up his kidnappers and drives the truck into the nearby garbage scow. When Spider-Man appears out of nowhere (yes, it's Ben Reilly, @Otto Octavius ), Spider-Woman mistakes him for the Skrull, zaps him and leaves him in the river. After that, she notices Captain Marvel holding her son and second Carol arrives. Jess threatens that she'll zap both of them. One wants to put down Gerry first and the other keeps talking. Jessica tells her child to zap bad auntie Carol and it turns out it's the latter. Carol flies off while Jess beats the crap out of Veranke. Skrull Queen takes forms of Ronin, Gerry and Lindsay to make Spider-Woman let her guard down, to no avail. Then, after Jesa calls Carol Kirk (is called Spock in return), she tells her to keep an eye on Veranke. Spider-Woman later visits McCabe in hospital where she's looked upon through the spyglass by Octavia Vermis, her weird-looking pet, Aeturnum, Rose Roché and Los Espadas Gemalas De Toledo... the Anti-Arachnine.
Pros:
Great action.
Lots of suspence.
References to Secret Invasion.
The Anti-Arachnine name makes me wonder about other members.
Nice jokes.
Cool cameos, especially by Carol.
Gerry Drew melts my heart. 🥺
Cons:
Anti-Arachnine's name might sound generic.
Not all members of Anti-Arachnine were shown.

At the start of this issue, Jessica saves Lindsay by fighting Coachwhip, Puff adder (*cough* obscure villains, @BANEkilla98 *cough*) and an agent of Thunderbolts Unit. She strips the last one of his suit and transports McCabe to the hospital while wearing it. There, her friend tells Jess that she 'knew it wasn't her'. Jessica interrogates the agent, cracks her bandage and later attacks Wilson Fisk in his house. She makes a refernece to Fisk's smoke demon posession from Doctor Strange Vol 4 #23. Jessica tells him that targetting Lindsay was a mistake in a funny way (more on that later). He then reveals that he used old female foe of Spider-Woman that Osborn had in Ravencroft to target her family and friends. Jess is shocked because the person in question is supposed to be dead. While fighting, we learn that that enemy was right before Drew's nose and she used shapeshifing abilities to pretend to be Jessica and attack McCabe. As Spider-Woman bursts through the window, the identity of this villainess (who's been that agent at the beginning of the issue) is none other than Veranke! The issue ends with fake Spider-Woman pretending to make sure Gerry is 'safe'.
Pros:
Funny jokes. I loved WHAM!'s "Careless Whisper" reference.
Slow reveal of Veranke gave me chills.
Action wasn't bad.
Cons:
A bit rushed.

Jessica Drew is still recovering her broken arm from the last issue. The Night Nurse advices her to not use her powers for a while and let her regenerate. Jessica leaves Gerry with her and she goes to visit Lindsay on a set of a new western where she’s working with Stevie Ciconia – a movie star and a fan of Spider-Woman. When Drew asks her about ninjas, McCabe says they’re working on a nearby “Ninjanado” set. They meet the crew and Ciconia who tells Spider-Woman she would like to set something with the Avengers for PR purposes. She likes to do her own stunts, was trained by ‘Keanu’s guys’ and she ‘hits too hard’, often injuring her co-workers. The same thing happens here as well. But then, it’s time for Lindsay’s stunt: she has to fall through a balcony, catch on fire on a nearby table and fall out of the window ready to take the gangsters. Stevie doesn’t do this stunt because of her insurance. Drew is worried about her friend’s safety, but McCabe is protected by flame retardant she applied earlier. Stevie brags about how she would’ve done it better. However, suddenly, ninjas attack! They aren’t actors or stunt doubles but actually gangsters sent by Mack Duffin, whom Lindsay owes money. Ciconia tries to shoot the ninjas but the gun she’s using is a prop gun so it does nothing. Jess (unable to use her Venom Blast) and her friend fight the ninjas and talk about Spider-Woman’s responsibilities as a mother and a friend. When the last ninja is down, the director, filming the whole thing, says: “Cut!” and Stevie offers our hero a producer credit. Linds promises Jess to explain everything and offers good snacks. Much later, Jessica looks for her but she finds an empty room and some red writing on the mirror saying: “This is all your fault, Jessica Drew! 🕷️” (yes, you’re seeing it right, spider symbol was written there too).
Pros:
The stuff Jess’ friends wrote on her cast are wholesome and funny.
Some jokes land.
Nice focus on Spider-Woman and McCabe’s friendship.
Frightening cliff-hanger.
Cons:
‘Keanu’s guys’ comment is a bit repetitive.
Action, while good isn’t as exciting as before.
Prop gun bit is not going to age well, considering the latest Alec Baldwin incident. 😬
Unlike King in Black tie-in, the following Devil’s Reign one didn’t get a proper prelude here, imo.
And that’s all I have to say, I believe. It’s just a fun filler with a cliff-hanger.

Jess still has doubts about Rebecca going on a mission to stop Michael and Rose Roché. The latter, while training with Octavia's staff, tells her that she has to do it. They talk about it and Rebecca's disability on the way to Marchand's apartment from where Rebecca wants to take something they're gonna need. However, Aeturnum and his partner interrupt them. The fight ensues, young Marchand blows up part of the wall and all four fall down a building. Drew tells her to be careful about nearby innocent people. We learn about Aeturnum's ability to shoot webs which male spiders from which he got his powers do. Jess is a bit jealous for a sec. On the ground, Rebecca is still blinded with rage. She wants to get Rose but her aunt reasons with her. Drew's niece understands her mindless fury and thinks she's useless. Spider-Woman comforts her and tells her how worried she is about people close to her. They rush after Michael and Roché. The former asks her if she really wanted to kill Rebecca but she doesn't want to give him a clear answer. Then, the fight continues. Jessica Drew fights her brother, while his daughter takes on Rose. Jess blasts her opponent knocking him out, while Rebecca uses 'flu shot' that drew (heh) Jess' powers before taking Marchand Serum. Rose is weakened and wrinkles start to appear on her face. Security guards take Aeturnum and his partner. Rebecca makes her dad realise she doesn't need fixing and promises to leave them enogh money to get away, on condition they'll never bother her again. She cries on Jessica's shoulder. When asked about her future plans, she says that she'll take over family business. Then, both of them walk into the sunset.
PROS:
Relationship between Jess and Rebecca. It's wholesome and I almost cried both times they hugged.
Cool fight scenes.
Speaking of which, Rebecca Marchand rocks as a superhero.
Nice humour.
Fitting conclusion to this story arc.
CONS:
Aeturnum and Roché are still generic af.
I wish Rebecca met other superpeople her age and maybe joined them.
