Yeah, but I doubt it. I think he’s just meant to be the overall, omnipotent creator of the Marvel Multiverse within the continuity.
That’s a different ball game.
Note that I’m talking about Marvel’s Yahweh and not the one people believe in irl.
The Marvel Comics Yahweh was created by the One Above All, or was created by something the One Above All created.
Even so, the Tribunal considered destroying earth because of its threat to the overall multiverse.
It’s the Tribunals job to protect the multiverse, One Above All is simply the creator
It’s fine you didn’t really offend me
And even if I was excited, why do you have to be such a downer like that?
Within the stuff they create, if they so choose, they can be “gods”, I.e self inserts. And there isn’t such a thing as “too much” excitement.
@Lagvaldemag I’m not excited, I’m just discussing an idea. Why do the comics mention the Omniverse then? If it’s not connected to other fiction, why mention it?
All Of Fiction- The Omniverse
And All Of Fiction’s Creators- The One Above All
So this would make the One Above All remain completely omnipotent, because in this scenario it would be on purpose.
Though Omniverse CAN mean all worlds and universes, real or not, in this context I believe it’s specifically the fictional ones,
Or, regardless of whether omnipotent thanos was a self-insert or not, and if the One Above All is indeed all writers, dreamers and creators of fictional worlds, then that whole event could be viewed as the One Above All (in this case Jim Starlin) messing with its self-insert and one of it’s creations- Thanos.
Though it’s an interesting idea, I doubt Jim was thinking of the One Above All like that.
That could be a way of thinking about Omnipotent Future Thanos, that it was Jim Starlin’s self-insert, and that’s why he was able to defeat the One Above All, because if it was Jim Starlin’s self-insert then it would just be a case of the One Above All defeating itself, or pretending to defeat itself lol
Which would be the majority of humanity
Maybe the One Above All is all writers and story creators. It’s often been thought that he represented the writers of the marvel comics, but maybe, because I’ve seen it said that he created the entire Omniverse, everyone whose made a story or created a fictional world is the One Above All lol
I’d say either the Marquis Of Death or Hunger.
Though the Marquis Of Death might surpass them.
