Since the frost beast has a scientific name, what would the frost giants' be?
@Dr. Nice And there you go again, talking down to me just for having fun! "Dr. Nice" my foot!
Agree to disagree then.
And any taxonomic term that has the location of origin in the name uses it as the species, not the genus.
@Dr. Nice Afarensis is the species rank for that one, as was jotunheimensis, check and mate.
@Dr. Nice No! Jotunheimensis! Like "Australopithecus afarensis"! (Strange ape from afar), Nivigigantus jotunheimensis, Ice giant from Jotunheim. What are you not understanding? It has nothing to do with the root! I know my stuff, stop talking to me like I'm an idiot!
@Emperor Namor Okay, also could you check out my frost giant post when you get a chance?
@Dr. Nice I know how it works, smart mouth! And I'm not gonna reverse it, because that's how it is!
Genus: Nivigigantus
Species: Nivigigantus jotunheimensis
Translation: Snow giant from Jotunheim
I'm not as dumb as you evidently think I am!
"Dr. Nice" my foot!
@Dr. Nice Most recently I came up with "Nivigigantus jotunheimensis", but I wasn't intending for anything to be canonized, I was trying to be thought-provoking. But clearly my attempt to do so has failed.
@Dr. Nice But is that their taxonomic name?
@Dr. Nice Bro, I literally stated the frost beasts have a canon scientific name. G. Jotunemensi. If you're not gonna take this seriously, or entertain the fact fictional creatures sometimes have scientific terminology applied to them (speculative biology), then please leave.
@Cliff1647 True, of course, with villains like that, their hubris is their downfall.
@Cliff1647 Like, I know they're apparently the result of alien experimentation on humans. Which, what is it with fictional aliens always trying to play God?
@Dr. Nice That's not scientific, dude.
Like, I know they exist, but that's it.
I don't really know anything about the inhumans, so I can't call myself a "fan" per se.
Since the frost beast has a scientific name, what would the frost giants' be?
Yeah, could be cool. Always nice when obscure stuff gets attention.
@Jakester95 yes and no, Peter Parkedcar is a fine buggy, not a racecar.
If his aunt is named "Aunt-T", who was his uncle, Uncle Benz? And was Spider-Mobile's canon event his uncle getting totalled?
@ChefBuster That's not why I'm saying that. Also, I'm perfectly fine if people don't agree, I just don't want this to break out into an argument. But you know, as long people aren't threatening each other, it's fine. I've seen things get pretty ugly on wiki discussions, so I'm more worldly and experienced then you realized, Chef.
