The powers and his story is all cool but some things just don't seem to really add up for me. That's why I was asking.

I thought of a retcon, where Laufey was female, therefore Loki's mom, like in the Nordic tales, and have Odin be Loki's dad, to make sense of the birth anomaly and him qualifying as a member of the Asgardian pantheon. It would better explain the Jotun and Asgardian truce. But that's just my own thinking.

I've got a related question to my initial question.

How was Loki able to be taught and be able to use magic when he was born a frost giant? Can magic be taught to everyone? Or is he a special case, like a mutant (especially because he was born too small to be a "giant")?

And I'm not sure what HWR meant by "paving the way" for Loki to be able to do what he "needs" to do.

Unfortunately, I'm not much of any help to you with this. But I'm sure there is at least a story somewhere there.

I just wanted to make comment on the fact: I think Marvel dropped the ball by making Nightcrawler the love child of both Destiny and Mystique. I think it should've been Rogue. She pretty much has both of their powers combined. This would make both Nightcrawler and Rogue half-siblings through Mystique. And it wouldn't compromise much of Mystique's and Nightcrawler's powersets.

I was having a chat with a friend about Doctor Strange being an Avenger and she said nope because of what you've mentioned. Looks like she's correct.

Wait... What about the organisation of heroes that worked together after the Snap, like Okoye, Rocket, and Captain Marvel?

Like, I know there isn't anything explicit about the events of the 5 years post Snap, like how governments and other organisations and people functioned afterwards, but isn't there some sort of implications from what we've seen from the movies? I know that it's not a lot to go on, and I'm especially displeased with the treatment of the 5 year gap, but this is a huge "plothole" then.

Would that mean that the heroes that assembled during the Endgame battle were just temporary Avengers? And was Black Panther ever even an Avenger? I mean, the dude helped out Team Cap, and provided soldiers and a battle field during Infinity War...

So many more questions than answers.

Understandable that they'd nerf most of the characters in the MCU, and TV, because of budget and such. Like, dude has a lot of powers in common with other characters, and maybe they rewrote his character to not make the other characters redundant, etc.

Yup, the Captain Marvel franchise (that I'm thinking of) could have led into the Guardians of the Galaxy, and Phyla could've moved from there and into the Guardians movies.
