@Hostess and @Frabig, oh I absolutely used a translator, I CANNOT speak the language of the angels, obviously 😂 I like to learn phrases here and there when some of the family posts, but other than that, I just give it the o’l good try every once in a while.

This is one of those battles that I always see only going one way and that’s with Kurt.
Just about every versus involving Kurt that isn’t purposefully mismatched or outright stupid doesn’t leave much argument for the contender.
For the same reasons that everyone has said already, when you have someone with a mastery level of teleportation that needs less than a split second to liberate your head from your body, via sabers, bare hands or whatever means Kurt is feeling in that particular moment, there really isn’t much you can do. You don’t know where he’s coming from and he’s too quick for you to just “fast reflexes lol”
I would say that only characters who can generate protective fields would even have some degree of control. Characters like Cable or Psylocke who can fine tune the dimensions of their psionic force fields to fit the contours of their body like a bodysuit would be your best bet.

@Gen, yeah, from a trait perspective I just don’t think I could ever concede the title to Doom. Like you said though, I’m open to that changing IF it can be. It’s a hard sale for the me though 😜
@Gen, exactly. That’s where I’m at with Doom as well. He doesn’t fit the role for me, despite the power, intelligence and aptitude for the position. Hopefully Tom has a chance to elaborate on why he thinks Doom would work ✊🏻 I love talking through these things 🤓
I believe there was a “What if...” scenario with Doom as SS, so yes, he technically doesn’t qualify for the parameters of the discussion. HOWEVER, I’m entertaining this specific candidate because I want to delve into the potential ethical limitations of Doom in that role 😜 I actually disagree about Doom being SS, but not from a power/qualification standpoint.
Basically, I’m too curious to let it go 😉

@Tom, I was waiting for him 😜 do you think he would uphold the office with the same grace that Strange does? I know he would do what needs to be done, but would he sacrifice what is traditionally seen as “heroic” in doing so? So is he lacking any emotional convictions that might be ideal despite the fact that it’s a charge with very obvious responses?
