Joker is only good when hes a foil to Batman. Thats his whole purpose. Hes supposed to be a guy who understands Batman, and in a way this makes him like a plot device. But without Batman hes not much more than just a crazy characterless guy. His Killing Joke origin is usually removed from his other appearances although it does add the whole one bad day can make anyone crazy thing to his character, hes so far removed from who he was before, which is why other appearances dont bring it up often either (not to mention he was already messed up before he fell into a pit of acid) Which is also why its utterly stupid when people are like omg Joker is so relatable. Even the more sympathetic Joker from the Joker movie wasnt supposed to be a character you sympathize with after he finally snaps. This ties to that whole society bad movie discussion Fra had the other day.

But yeah, he loses his value when he becomes repetitive and then you get into questions like how does he still hang around. He works best when hes rarely used and leaves a big impact but is still portrayed in a more creepy killer way than a demon like Pennywise.

I mean neither Boba followed Mando culture strictly for the most part. Legends Boba only did post rotj. Canon Boba never does. Both Jangos were foundlings who followed the code though, at least until Jangos whole group of True Mandos gets slaughtered.

I thought the Celestials being so freaking huge in Eternals was cool, and comics do have a few that big like Knowhere and Exitar. But my problem is that their bodies have that weird look where they try to be organic but just ends up looking ugly. Although mcu knowhere already had that look for some reason anyway.

Colorful suits can really work sometimes like with Gunns comedy and story and other times we get dumpster fires like the new Batgirl suit. Same applies to realism. Sometimes it makes the bad guys look cool, other times they look like an unrecognizable mess.

Its also bad from an international perspective because if a country or even a terrorist group or whatever makes a deal with the US, theres no guarantee that whoever is in charge 4 years later will respect that agreement.

Also I dont think that will ever happen in our lifetimes, and honestly its not even a bad thing. The needs of people are complex and vary from person to person, you cant satisfy everyone no matter what. Plus theres some things that I absolutely feel dont need any arguments over in the first place.

Well I can see the point of the movie being this is what we are doomed to do if things stay the same. Which in a way tells you to change. Theres a difference between that and say Warhammer 40Ks brand of depressing fatalism.

I mean to back what Max said, progress is only acheived with awareness of issues and a push to solve them. Id say more focus on the bad rather than the good is important. Sure, lifes pretty good for us, but inequality is visible to anyone who looks for it and we have to face that. Otherwise society will stagnate in its problems and we wont advance for the betterment of humanity.

The problem with the two party system is that especially in a country where people domt bother to read up on candidates, people vote on a person based on whatever party they default to often. Its viewed as you have two opposite options. And the same applies to the politicians themselves. They tirelessly fight and stall each other over laws that can help everyone so that the other side doesnt get a win. Which is what makes the fact that they arent so different even funnier. Dems say they fight for change and equality but a majority dont and are just like the GOP. The only difference is republicans are far more open about it and with the party turning into the Trump party theres now even more bad, not that there werent some worse people before, but now theyre going all in and even purging moderates. In fact I think most people educated in politics when given the choice between the two dont try to weigh whether one is good or not, but which one is the lesser evil. American politics is basically picking your own poison.
