Another idea I've mentioned in the past would be for a crossover with the numerous Superheroes in the Public Domain - thus giving the Superheroes who sadly never made it in the modern day mainstream some time in the spotlight.

My idea behind it in the past was to introduce a new villain who gained the power to manipulate fiction and manifest it into the real world - with said villain creating an army of heroes from the Public Domain (such as Stardust, Moon Girl, Shield, Fantomah, Captain Battle, Amazing Man, Magician From Mars, Atomic Mouse, Dr. Synthe, etc.) - the ability to manipulate fiction allowing the villain to make the PD heroes subservient to him while also giving them some updated designs.

Ultimately the PD heroes would be freed and help the Marvel heroes fight the villain and his army of PD villains/superheroes - which could offer some interesting fights and create some genuinely concerning stakes, especially with some of the people/creatures in the public domain (such as some of H.P. Lovecraft's creations).

Also, it might be interesting to explore the minds of said PD heroes when they're freed from their control; having the double whammy of learning that they're fictional characters and that they're from comics/stories that failed for one reason or another and so have almost entirely been forgotten about (which I think would cause a lot of mixed reactions), but now have the opportunity to "go out on a high note".

@RJ Plotner - Agreed. The only change I would make would be to have the symbiote cover the tube providing the Venom steroid so it's less exposed.

Besides that, it's one of the better "Venomized Bane" pictures I've seen.

@Dr. Nice - It'd be neat to see Batman in some power armour and Spider-Man in his Iron Spider armour for that clash.

Also, since we're talking about giant robots (and since they've crossed over with DC as well), how about the Boom Studios Power Rangers?

It'd be neat to see them joining forces with the Avengers and other hero groups in the Marvel Universe, especially when they bring their Zords/Megazord into the mix.

We did get a crossover with Transformers before (especially as Marvel was responsible for the Transformers comics for a time), but I definitely wouldn't mind seeing more interactions between the Marvel Superheroes and the Cybertronians.

Agreed, and his newest incarnation was pretty powerful - his strongest attack been him firing a beam powerful enough to pierce through the moon and destroy a target on the other side of it.

@Your local internet guy - Alright, I'll abbreviate:

01. Have Marvel cross over with Gamera since they've already crossed over with Godzilla and Ultraman.

02. Gamera has a lot of power and abilities, with it likely been interesting to see him fighting a mix of his own villains (Monsters and Aliens) and various Marvel Universe threats.

03. If he links with a human and shares his power with them, Marvel might get a new superhero out of it during and after the crossover ends.

Is that better?

The only other ones I was aware of are the MCU Wiki and Spider-Man Wiki; I didn't realize there were more.

How many others are there?

I've mentioned potentially having Gamera cross over with Marvel in the past (that thread been back in 2022) - owing to the fact Marvel has included Godzilla and Ultraman in their comics, so you might as well have Gamera as well to complete the "Big Three".

(When I say "Big Three", I mean that Godzilla, Gamera and Ultraman are the mascot characters of their respective companies - Toho, Daiei/Kadokawa and Tsuburaya).

Considering Gamera's powers across his incarnations - the most popular been his Heisei incarnation (as the films in the Heisei/90's Gamera Trilogy are considered among the best Giant Monster Movies ever made), while his most recent was the version of the character that appeared in the Gamera: Rebirth 3D anime series on Netflix in 2023 (which gave us arguably the strongest version of the character to date) - I do think there's plenty of ideas and themes you could play with.

Also, considering one of Gamera's abilities in the Heisei films was linking with a human (that human been a teenage girl named Asagi), you could potentially get a new teenage superhero out of it if it means he can share his powers with them (maybe call the new superhero "Trailblazer", since the character with the same name from the cancelled New Warriors comic isn't likely to be showing up any time soon).

As for how he shows up in the Marvel Universe, maybe have him appear while fighting another monster and getting pulled through a wormhole onto the Marvel version of Earth - along with his enemies, both monsters and aliens. (That wouldn't be unusual - one of Gamera's foes from a 2015 short film could shoot what appeared to be mini black holes, so maybe that could be altered in this case to make it a wormhole).

As such, you get Gamera helping out, fighting monsters and threats from this universe and his own, finally beating the main threat (which might be Zanon, this time in a ship that doesn't look like a Star Destroyer rip-off) and eventually getting back home; maybe "imprinting" his powers into Trailblazer's DNA so said superhero still have them without needing Gamera around and so Marvel gets a new character out of it without needing to reference Gamera all the time.

@Dr. Nice - Re-reading your reply to my comment about Bane and Venom, I think I might not have made my idea clear (or maybe I did and what I write next will make me look like an idiot - which honestly wouldn't be surprising). :D

My idea in that situation was not that Bane and Venom would team up, but rather that Bane would become (for this comic's runtime) the host for the Venom Symbiote.

After all, what happens when you have the Venom Symbiote - with all its various powers/abilities, including augmenting its host and replicating Spider-Man's own abilities - bonding to the man who broke Batman's back?

@Dr. Nice - As an alternative villain pair, how about Mysterio and Scarecrow?

Both of them have their ways of messing with people's heads and I get the feeling Scarecrow's fear toxin might make Spider-Man's Spider Sense go berserk as well as causing him to hallucinate - which in turn could make him see Batman as a potential threat with his mind seeing something/someone different.

Granted, that crossover may be more on the "trippy" side but I think it could work.

I wouldn't mind another Batman/Spider-Man crossover - maybe with the Venom Symbiote joining with Bane (especially as the steroid he uses to grow stronger is also called Venom).

Also, it'd be a bit of fanservice as Tom Hardy played Bane in The Dark Knight Rises and he plays Eddie Brock in the Venom trilogy.

Personally, I'm not sure and I'll be happy to wait until the film comes out.

In regards to the trailer, I love the version of David Bowie's "Space Oddity" that they used, while it also left me with a question.

Comparing Eddie Brock and his "Venomized" horse with Carter Slade and his "Fiery Steed" from Ghost Rider, which do you think looks better and who do you think would win in a race?

(Regardless of who wins, just seeing some artwork of the two racing together would probably look amazing).

Yeah, that I knew - I just meant in regards to the Xenomorphs crossing over with superheroes.

Well we've seen the Xenos in Wildstorm, DC, Dark Horse and 2000AD comics before; guess it was only a matter of time before they made their way into Marvel as well.

Here's hoping the stories are good or at least entertaining.

In this case, I presume the above suggestion (about it been from people who are fatigued from all the stuff going on) could serve as some people's justification for their words/actions. After all, not everyone is biased for the same reasons.

As for the guy in yellow on the left, I'm not sure. Reverse Image Search suggests from the results that it's Cable but I don't think it's him.
