I've wanted to try and get into comics for a while now, and I'm already a fan of the MCU, so I thought marvel would be a good place to start. Could anyone please tell me what the best comics to start with are.
Hello everyone, I just joined this place today. Tbh, I don't know that much about Marvel anymore, I used to like Marvel a lot when I was very young. I guess I came here for the nostalgia 😊. Oh, and I've heard a lot of good things about this place, I hope that they're true.
I can't wait to get to know you guys!
Oh, and since I don't know a lot about this place, I assume that posts like this go to the " Introduction" - section, right? Sorry if I got it wrong.
Hi I’m new well account wise I’ve been surfing around for info on my favorite characters and I would like share my thoughts so hi. I’ve read the guidelines
Hi, I'm new here. A friend recently sent me this Fandom and I couldn't believe I hadn't found it sooner. I love everything Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow and Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch related. I can't wait to be able to love the MCU with all of you!
I love comics and look forward to meeting all of you (eventually).
As in not is I’ve been on the fandom just haven’t made an account so HI!!
Hello everyone. I am new here. I started editing DC Database here a few days ago and I was mostly fixated on Walmart Giants plus Digital titles. I am also a Marvel fan which is why I decided to come here. Although I am new to DC Database and Marvel Database, this isn't my first time editing on a wiki - previously I've been on Wikipedia and mostly Gamepedia sites. My favorite video game is The Banner Saga. Favorite superhero - Captain America.
I discovered this fandom who seems to be for kids. Why kids these days use the internet I will post on my christian blog what this defiant culture done to modern kids. This fandom will be reported to JW.com as christianophobic and racist so can stop being lazy children and actual do your homework.
Hi, I'm new here. I'm Brittney. I love playing games (Fortnite, Minecraft from apknite, Mario, etc.), watching movies and dramas, and travelling. Hope we have nice time here
Hi! I'm more of a Marvel Comics girl with a love and great interest in X-Men.
Hey guys. I just edited the Beth Sooner Earth-616 page. It had her first appearance as Thor #603 when it is actually Thor vol. 3 #1. Could somebody fix it & put the link on it. I don't know how to do that.
I'm new to the world of Fandom! Ever since I was little,I loved superheroes and villains, so I thought, why not?,and created this account. If you are interest, I posted a blog regarding the MCU in the 'Movies' section, so if you are interested, please take a look!
Now that according to Daredevil# 25( Vol 3), the US Supreme Court has in its landmark decision (New York v Strugansky) declared that testimony by masked heroes(or who otherwise refuse to disclose their alternate identity even if like say, Thor, they wear NO masks per se)is quite legal, it is worth dwelling on the long term ramifications of this ruling, which to my mind has opened a veritable "Pandora'a Box". Does it only apply to heroes/heroines resident in North America(probably as Canadian Courts- including the country's Supreme court pay close attention to SCOTUS rulings, esp those pertaining to "capes")? What about those heroes/heroines who are from countries which are neither allies or friends of the US(such as its NATO partners such as the UK, Germany and Canada) such as Russia? Does it apply to alien heroes( Silver Surfer, Shi'ar Imperial Guard)? or to supernaturally based ones( not all of them are heroes, such as Dracula, who as ruler of the Vampire Nation is arguably a head of state, just like Dr Doom of Latveria and King T'Challa of Wakanda) or to ad hoc groups such as The Defenders which have no fixed membership roster(unlike the FF,Avengers or X-Men)? What about villains who are trying to reform( Hawkeye, Black Widow, Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch, Falcon, Wonder Man)? I suppose it had to happen- masked heroes have been around in what is now the Marvel Universe since the 1940s and it's long overdue for the Courts(or the US Supreme Court) to regularize their existence- from "vigilantes" to something akin to duly sworn law enforcement personnel. Anybody think as I do?
Recent readers of Daredevil may note that Matt Murdock is trying to set a legal precedent for masked heroes/heroines to testify in open court(both Federal presumably as State)without unmasking themselves or otherwise(in the case of heroes who do not wear masks but whose dual identity is unknown to the general public such as Thor)revealing their dual identity. I don't quite get the point in as much as I have read stories in which superheroes testify in open court( as Iron Man does in Hulk#152 and Captain America does in X-Men vs Avengers No.4)without revealing their secret identities. It is true in real life testifying in court without revealing one's identity is questionable due to the "Confrontration Clause") but if an exception can be made for CIA "spooks" or members of clandestine military formations such as US Navy SEALs, Green Berets,Army Rangers, Delta Force, Recon Marines and British SAS, then why not superheroes?
I never really introduced myself before, but I thought I'd do one of these.
I used to have an account, just called Gemnist, but due to some parental mishaps the account got shut down. I was able to start a new one more recently, and here I am!
Anyway, just call me Gemnist. I'm an aspiring writer, who loves Marvel, likes DC, and hates anyone that tries to put either down. Favorite hero is Spider-Man, favorite villain is... I dunno, really. I prefer stories that focus on story, characterization, warmth, darkness, and humor all at once. I also love anime and manga, so you might find me there as well.
Looking forward to being back!
Hi there,
I've been involved on wikia for a little while but I'm new to the Marvel wiki.
I'm updating the Iron Fist TV series - I'm following the standards as far as I'm aware but could do with someone to consult sometimes.
Is there an administrator that's responsible for that area of the wiki I could ask occasional questions of?
Regards
Mike
Hello fellow marvel fans! I'm happy to be part of this community, I have been an avid comic book reader ever since I was young, but now have been loving the Marvel cinematic universe even more. Who is excited for Phase 4?
