310 Bedstone Avenue was the home of May Reilly and her parents. As a young woman, she had met a man named Johnny Jerome and fallen in love with him. Jerome had committed a murder and tried to flee with May, hoping to marry her. Ben Parker was another acquaintance of May's and told her the truth about Johnny, forcing her to reject him. He ultimately went to prison for his crime and years later was paroled. He had been sending numerous letters to May reminding her of their former love. May went to her old home at 310 Bedstone Avenue, which was abandoned and dilapidated, to meet with him. Spider-Man followed her to the house to ensure her safety. Ultimately, May rejected Johnny and told him that he only loved a memory and that she had fallen in love with Ben Parker. After rejecting him, she returned home and reconnected with Nathan Lubensky.[1]
