History

Anya Corazón was a teenaged gymnast living in Brooklyn. After saving the life of a stranger, Miguel Legar bestowed upon her spider-powers. She joined his organization, the Spider Society, in their war with the Sisterhood of the Wasp. After the defeat of the Sisterhood, Anya left the Society and became the super hero Spider-Girl.

During the Totem War, Spider-Girl was approached by Spider-Man and Superior Spider-Man. She was recruited into the Spider-Men to help defeat the Inheritors.
