History
The pirate ship on Earth-5311, the Abdul Alhazred was the vessel of Captain Kitty and her crew. Events forced her to abandon it in port city of Nhu Yorkh, but the ship was recovered in time to aid Earth-616’s Nightcrawler in his pursuit of the sorcerer Shagreen.[1]
Notes
- The name of the ship, the Abdul Alhazred, is taken from the works of Gothic horror writer, Howard Phillips Lovecraft. It's the name of the Mad Arab, the man responsible for writing a magic tome known as the Necronomicon (mystical equivalent of Marvel's Darkhold).
