History

Green Goblin orchestrated a plot to defeat Spider-Man, initially assembling the Sinister Six of which Beetle was part of and kidnapped Flash Thompson from them. Trying to save his friend, Spider-Man ran into the trap prepared by the Sinister Six but the intervention of other heroes led to the defeat of the criminals.
