History
Adam Ishima was a corporate lawyer[2] and teacher at University of California, Berkeley.[3] Adam's younger brother David Ishima worked as a construction worker and landlord, even if their parents would have liked both kids to have white-collar jobs.[1] Still, Adam was in good terms with David.[2]
When David had legal troubles and was accused of homicide, he contacted Adam to ask for a lawyer. Adam reccommended David to hire his friend John DeLuca, specialized in criminal law. During the investigation, that exonerated David, he used the services of Private Investigator Jessica Drew.[2] Adam, following the case, noticed that Drew had done a great job helping his brother and she also had a competitive fee. Thus, when some time later Adam's student Pamela Kramer looked for a private investigator to find her father, Adam recommended Drew; Kramer indeed hired Drew.[3]
