Adele Gorton was an acquaintance of Emil Blessing and was playing golf at Sunblest Golf Course and Country Club with her husband and Blessing when they met Doctor Strange who was searching for the High Lama of a group of priests from Kamar-Taj. She recognized Doctor Strange from his days as a surgeon but was skeptical due to her suspicion that he should appear much older than he did.[1]
