History

The A.I.R. was a subdivision of A.I.M. dedicated to researching regenerative capabilities. However, one of the guinea pigs turned into a zombie which drunk a sample that contained Deadpool's blood but with similar properties to the Hunger Virus, hoping it would re-create his healing abilities, during the tests the desease spread through the air.
